This week I started
on my actual concentration series on the abstractions of animals. Only so many
photos worked perfectly this week. I had some trouble with my camera while taking
pictures of cats, which I hated. I was working with value, contrast, and texture
this week when I noticed that some of the lighting should be dimmer. Overall this
week was a little stressful but I got some things done.
In my concentration series I am exploring the abstraction of animals. I want to distort different part of different animals. I will use contrast, emphasis, texture, and movemen. More will be incorporated. This has personal connection because animals are way better than humans and they are human’s relatives. They have personality without speaking our language. In the end I want to give the animals human characteristics by combining them together as one. In the end we are all just animals.

Week One
I had no idea what to do for my
concentration series. I went from wanting to do something with time and aging,
to cars and how they are built, and finally the abstraction of animals. My
first ideas that I took pictures for were different background for the teens aging process. I was concentrating on places where
kids, teens, adults, and grandparents would be seen. Clearly on the first try I
gave up on this idea, I don’t like dealing with people very much. Now I am
changing my idea to the abstraction of animals which I adore!
